about

Fallen Kingdom is a deeply personal album to me for three reasons. It's the first album I've written since a magnitude of severe changes happened in my life over the last year; it's the first album where I acknowledged my own shortcomings as a musician and a person; it's the first album where I had a clear cut vision of what I wanted to do and not just a general idea.

The album is split into two halves, the extrovert, and the introvert. Instead of just focusing on what I thought were the best parts of myself, I looked at who I am, the aesthetic parts, and the unpleasing parts. Since I'm naturally disorganized as a person, I felt that my music should reflect that in genre variety but not in structure.

In the last year, I've experienced disappointment, happiness, self-awareness, death, and a wealth of new knowledge that I couldn't grasp before. This album is a thank you to the few who stuck by me the whole way there, and as a farewell, to the person, I was before.

This is the Fallen Kingdom.
